Kate (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Business / Marketing / Financial

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

comptant

Context:

En votre aimable règlement : comptant

Keywords:

ok, this is at the bottom of a DEVIS for HONORAIRES D'AGENCE, from a SOCIETE IMMOBILIERE concerning professional fees for preparing a lease - the first part of this means something like "due and payable upon receipt of invoice", but does the word 'comptant' change or add anything to that here? thx

Payment in full due upon receipt or Kindly pay in full upon receipt.

My comment:

It's a nice way of saying: due upon receipt, or payable immediately.
It means don't let any time go by before you pay it: currently due.
You can add Thank You for the aimable. There are several ways to say it. Comptant-due in full upon receipt.
