Während WP auch das eingedeutschte "vermaschte Netz" kennt, ist in der Praxis der engl. Begriff üblich (Mesh-Netzwerke, Mesh-Technologie), teils spricht man aber auch einfach von "(drahtlosen) Sensornetzwerken", d.h. die "Sensorknoten" sind "netzwerkfähig" (so wie auch engl. "wireless mesh sensors").
