Hello
I'm trying to wright a few words in Kikuyu, to ask my partners Mum for her blessing for our future marriage, when we go over in December.
I've tried to find a translation, but not sure if it any good.
This is what I want to say, please don't laugh..
"Dear Mum
I love your daughter
I want to marry your daughter Njeri
I seek your blessing
I promise to Protect her
