I am completely native in both English and European Spanish, having grown up in South Africa and then having lived in Spain for 20 years. My background is in teaching English as a foreign language. I am also a simultaneous interpreter in both languages. I have been translating for over 10 years and am a fast, accurate worker. I am familiar with working tight deadlines.

Background , :
My experience in teaching English as a foreign language has stood me in good stead for translating jobs. In the past 2 years I have also added to my knowledge as a simultaneous interpreter working for the mining industry. Interpreting has taught me the value of appropriate language selection which has in turn been beneficial in translating. I have an extensive background in translating, teaching and interpreting.
