Career / Experience

I have just graduated from Queens' College, University of Cambridge with a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages for my Part I - for which I received a First Class Honours - before undertaking a conversion year in Business Management at the Cambridge Judge Business School in my 4th year.

I studied French and Italian, took modules in literary translation in both languages and specialised in 20th century French literature and philosophy. I also speak Spanish and Catalan fluently, having grown up in Barcelona until the age of 14.

My translation experience within my degree was highly literature-focused, however I have undertaken a number of translation roles in marketing and communications in Barcelona, Milan, Tuscany and Paris. These entailed translating below-the-line marketing materials, social media content, legislative documents, internal contracts and portfolios for companies such as Nissan, Publicis Paris, Rebecca Jewellery and Adacto.
