- Translate articles and books from, French and English into Arabic.
- Select articles to be translated and then being published in a related bulletin, doing the translation and the proofreading job, coordinate between readers, translators and proofreaders.
- Participate in the elaboration of a bilingual dictionary (English/Arabic) of Scientific and Technical Terms.
- Prepare distribution lists of the bulletin.
- Correspond with foreign magazines asking translation permission.
- Train computer users.

- Translations for some journals (such as Tishreen, El baath ... ), magazines (IT Magazine-Computer and Electronics), TV films and some Master & pHD student thesis.
- Simultaneous Translations (English/French into Arabic and vice versa) for experts and groups visiting the country or paying official visits to Syrian Institutions.
- Advanced Social Competence in dealing with individuals and quite heterogeneous official groups of regional or international composition.
- Experience and Expertise in International Environments to adapt to others cultures and mentalities in private and official missions easily especially in French-, English- and German speaking societies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Arabic - native speaker with the background and social code of an academically trained professional.
French – native-like fluency and full written command at multiple social & scientific levels due to being academically trained, frequent traveling to France and family bonds in the French society.
English – excellent in fluency of colloquial and official communication as well as in writing of documents, commentaries, minutes. Family bonds in the US society.
Spanish – advanced oral and written competence.
German - basic oral and written knowledge to be developed continuously.
Pricing / Other services
My rate is 0.8 - 0.10 Euro per source word (depending on nature of text, deadline and availability).
