Interpreter and Translator (GERMAN <> SWEDISH)

Specialization:
As a translator I have a wide range of subjects – from medicine, law, economics, engineering and internet from Swedish to German and vice versa and do as well interpret in this language combination.

I translate about 40,000 words a month as a freelancer for customers and agencies mainly located in Sweden and Germany.

Educational Background
Bachelor of Arts in Art History University of Lund, Sweden (1988)
Master of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Hamburg (1994) and Göteborg (1995)
I grew up in Sweden and Germany, studied in both countries, live in Germany now and travel to Sweden many weeks a year, both in business and to be with my family.

Expertise:
Native German and Swedish speaker (bilingual)
Fluent in English

Resources
Hardware: PC, Windows XP, DSL, fax.
Software: Trados 6.5, Passolo, the Office suite, Macromedia und Adobe programs

Translation/Interpretation Experience:
I work for the Hamburg court since 2000 with more than 1000 hours of interpreting by now

I translated about 2000000 words over the past five years.
