• In a classroom setting, taught senior citizens Haitian Creole in preparation for life and church service in Haiti. None of the students had previous exposure to the language. Taught the language in a way that focused on proficiency in the aspects of missionary work and essential daily tasks.
• Substitute taught French classes for senior citizens one night a week for a period of six (6) weeks. Reviewed in class what the students were taught in morning and afternoon class sessions.
• Was Lead Teacher, and as such, coordinated weekly planning meetings and submitted weekly reports.
• Translated training materials for missionaries, mission presidents, and temple workers from English into Haitian Creole.
1999-2001
