I currently teach writing and composition at a small liberal arts college in south central New York state while also working as a freelance translator, writer, and editor.
My professional experience and background includes translation, writing, education, book publishing, website management, and marketing. I hold a Ph.D. in Translation Studies and M.A. in Comparative Literature focusing on the politics of translation, collective memory, and life narratives in translation.
In addition to teaching in higher education, I maintain an active research agenda and provide services in translation and communication in many forms and media.
