Career / Experience

I hold a PhD in European History (2015) and in the last three years I have been developing my academic career researching in two fields of studies, both of them within the main area of contemporary history: the history of political and economic thought; and economic history. My professional activities led me to work in different countries (Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal) allowing me to learn and practices multiple foreign languages (English, Portuguese and Spanish).

Experience:
- As a researcher I published several single author articles – in Italian, English and Portuguese – in international peer-reviewed specialized journals (i.e. «The Journal of European Economic History», «Studi storici», «Estudos Históricos») and volumes (published by Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Cambridge Scholar Press, etc.).

- As translator I have worked for several academic institutions and specialized reviews (Università Roma Tre, «Memoria e Ricerca», Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto de História Contemporanea, etc.) translating from English/Portuguese/Spanish to Italian.

I am extremely reliable and able to work effectively under pressure. Outstanding attention to details and excellent knowledge of Italian language (syntax, grammar, spelling, punctuation).
