Involved in translating and interpreting materials from English to Gujarati on a variety of topics: biology, botany, health and medicine, sociology and human relations, geography and anthropology, personal narrative accounts, religion, science, poetry and current affairs. My work included analysing, translating and reviewing up to 2,500 words of text per day for the translation of semi-monthly and quarterly editions of international journals distributed in 20 countries.
My translation methodology and procedures involved a meaning-based approach to produce high-quality natural translation.
I also have experience in working with, and translating, criminal and civil documents, subtitling and telephone and court interpretation. I have also acted as an interpreter at BETA International Trade Exhibition.
Recently I have completed a large voice over project for the housing association. The aim of the project was to preserve naturalness in the source language.

Interpretation: £17.00 per hour + Travel Costs
Voice over: £32.00 per hour
