Hi! My name is Herwin. I am an agricultural engineer and a translator.

My profile in brief

I have already translated, from English to Haitian Creole, more than 349,000 words (1,396 pages) of which more than 148,000 words in the area of Education and more than 65,000 words in the area of Health.

I have already translated more than 109,000 words (436 pages) from English to French and I have proofread more than 34,000 French words (136 pages) translated from English.

I have carried out the linguistic evaluation of 287 international brand names intended for typical Haitian Creole speaking people and the linguistic evaluation of several brand names intended for French speaking Haitians.

I have been designing, writing, translating, testing and administering survey forms in Haitian Creole and French since 1995. I have been carrying out surveys on the field in Haiti, in Haitian Creole and French since 1995.

Haitian Creole and French are my two mother tongues. I am Haitian and I live in Haiti. I was raised and educated in Haiti, in French and Haitian Creole, from kindergarten to university.
