A graduate of the University of Glasgow, I hold an MA (hons) in Hispanic Studies and French. Furthermore I am a Member of the Institute of Public Relations, with seven years internal and external PR and communications experience and have worked in Healthcare and IT/ technology environments in both the public and private sector. I also hold a Pg. Dip in Public Relations from Stirling University¡¦s Film and Media School. I have extensive experience in editing, proof reading and copywriting and the full communications and public relations mix.

Rates

My rates start at 0.05 EUR / word for translation jobs and at 29 EUR / hour for proof reading jobs. A minimum charge may be applied for jobs of more than 1,000 words - this will be applied on a case-by-case basis. A 10% charge will be added for priority translations.

Normally, I will translate approx. 2000 - 3000 words a day - and more if necessary, depending on the nature of the language - and I can be available at the weekend if necessary.

I work directly onto a laptop and I'm well versed in the following software: Microsoft XP Professional, Office, Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional, Adobe PhotoShop.
