I have been doing writing and translation jobs since 1996 when I was a student of Yogyakarta-based Gadjah Mada University. I was employed by the leading English newspaper in Indonesia, The Jakarta Post, in 1997. However, I quit from the Post in 2002 and decided to devote my time as freelance translator and journalist. I have translated three books from English into Indonesian. My journalistic works have been printed on many print media all over the globe including the Far Eastern Economic Review.
