A graduate from the University of Manchester in Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in French and German, I am now working as a Freelance Translator, translating, transcribing and proofreading from/to French and German. Having worked and lived in France and Germany, my level is fluent and near native and I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and am also working towards completing the renowned DipTrans IoLET exams in January.
In terms of my professional career, as mentioned I have worked in both France and Germany and here in the UK I have worked as a proofreader for a translation company and then a Marketing and Software company retrospectively.
