· Multilingual secretary and translator (1989 and 1995>2001) employed by different local industries with export activities in the textile sector and in printing materials ;
· Freelance translator (1990>1993 and 2002>). Translations French/English>Dutch: tourism, textile, publicity, real estate, art, agriculture, press, dialogues, humanitarian sciences, video games, medical, etc. and proofreading. (I interrupted freelance work when my 3rd child was born in 1993.)

Grown up in the Netherlands and living for more then 25 years in France, I’m a Dutch native speaker and my French is of near native quality. My studies, contacts, stays in Ireland, and professional experience made my English fluent. Though I do not translate it I have a good comprehension of German.

· University of Montpellier (France): diplôme d’études universitaires générales (DEUG) in philosophy;
· Training course in commercial bi-lingual secretariat English-French;
· Courses in journalistic writing and creative writing (Dutch);
