I am a professional freelance translator. My mother tongue is English (UK).

I have been translating a wide range of texts in the IT>EN combination since 1986. I had occasionally been involved in translation projects even before this time (from 1973).

As a ‘specialist’ over the years I have gained experience in various fields. The legal documents I have translated include attorneys’ memoranda, court sentences and public laws. I have also translated notarial deeds, government/ministerial documents, commercial/business documents (contracts, agreements, Chamber of Commerce certification etc), patents and quality control reports. A full list of areas of specialisation is provided below.

On account of previous experience in the fields of clinical psychology and psychometrics I often accept work relating to these particular areas.

In 2012 I was included in the EPSO (EU) data base of eligible candidates following a selection procedure based on competency tests for the FR>EN and IT>EN linguistic combinations
