I worked for 20 years in the Hospitality Industry around the World, UK, China, Indonesia, Seychelle, Germany, France,.
For 10 years I also worked in the Steel Industry in France and Germany...
I have reconverted in Taiwan, end of 2000 to teaching/tutoring and translation, teaching English and French, and translating in different field working mainly as a freelance for an Intellectual Property Agent in Taiwan (New Inventions), and another Agency in Taiwan (since 2005 - Technical Manuals - Specialized in Big Pharma Medicine and Chemistry ). I also Have experience on TV - Cinema (movie and Advertising) ONLY Scripts translations and Acting .

- I HAVE NO LICENCE

- I take my work very seriously; this is why I am still with the same Agents since 2000 and 2005.

- I can provide Fairly Quick Simple and Clear Translation of a document DEPENDING and ACCORDING TO THE SOURCE document, but will put QUALITY before Speed,and will not REWRITE bad document, only translate them.

-I have good basic knowledge of computer terminology.

- I like to recieve and provide translations mainly in MS Word (faster), but PDF and PP. also acceptable after review, and at a slightly higher cost if some printings, typings are required.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Since January 2000, I live in Taiwan, and do some English to French Translation for an International Patent Agent , and since 2005 with another Agent in Taiwan and from time to time another Agent in PR China mainly just translating not rewriting technical manuals.
I also did some translation for Canadian Trade Office in Taipei during the year 2002, until they took a full time employee,I also do some works from time to time for a Swedish Company on some parts of the WII machine, and for a German Company for the famous ACD Shelter techniek.
Beside this, I teach Business English & French to Adults in privates Companies, Universities, as a Freelance.

In my past career in the Hotel Industry, as Restaurant /F&B.Manager, (Indonesia, U.K., P.R.of China, Seychelles, Germany, France, Hong-Kong), part of my duty has been the continuous training of my employees, mostly in English and French.
I also participated in the elaboration of French Cassettes for
the University of French in Hangzhou, PR of China in 1987.

   Pricing / Other services

My rate for simple translation, clear of any expenses (credit card/Bank transfer and tax) per/word source is :
10.000 words and more, 10.000NT$ for each 10.000words sent
EURO=0.045 p/word from 1000 words and up to 6500 words ..
0.050 Euro p/words for - than 1000 words,
0.055 Euro p/word for 500 words or less,
or US$ and Pounds Sterling= or NT$.equivalent

Interpretation in Taiwan:
One day 16000 NT$ or 369 Euros for 8 hour,
then 2500 NT$ or 60 Euros) for any extra hour.
Any transport expenses between Shinshu <-> TAIPEI are included.
All other expenses', such as:
lunch, dinner, or transport and hotel northwards of Taipei or
southward of Shinshu, will be at the charge of the Client.
To avoid any payment problems, for each day contract, a provision of the first 4 hours will have to be paid at the signing of the agreement/or 24hours before the first day and the remaining sum will be paid at the end of the day.
Any other arrangements or organizations will be discussed and charged accordingly.
