I have worked as a freelance translator since 1999, specially in the legal and medical fields.
I graduated in English and German Translation and Interpreting in 1995 from the University of Granada.
As a result of the Erasmus exchange programme, I had the opportunity to study the 1993-94 course at the CBS in Copenhagen, where I fell in love with the Danish language and culture.
In 1995 I did a legal and economics translation course at the Estudio Internacional Sampere in Madrid and in 1999 I moved to Barcelona to do a postgraduate course in legal translation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
As I am interested in translation research, I have studied distance courses in the doctoral programme “Translation, Society and Communication” given by the University of Granada and the Jaume I University of Castellon.
At the moment I am writing a dotoral dissertation on the translation of company incorporation documents.
