Hello,
I am “native” with three languages: Swedish (father), Norwegian (mother) and Spanish (husband).
I speak and write English fluently, and master Catalan and German on a very good level. My childhood I spent in Sweden and Norway, School in Sweden and after school, I started to work as a Tour and Travel-guide all over Europe, mainly Spain, Germany, Austria, Norway, England.
I moved to Spain/Catalunya in 1988 and stayed there until 2000. I was working within the travel- and Hotel- industry as well as the nautical field (boat yard). Since 2000, my family and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden (Catalan husband and 2 boys).
I have done translation projects in several different areas; User manuals for companies such as SIEMENS, SONY, SAMSUNG, NIKON, LG, PHILIPS, ROWA automated storage and dispensing systems in pharmacies. Also done translations for, BAYER, OSPOL, C.R BARD.
I have translated other documents/projects and/or proof read for SAMSUNG, SONY, NIKON AND LG, HARLEY DAVIDSON.COM. Translation of websites, such as HERBALIFE.COM, NOKIA.COM, TIMARCO.SE, TERMINAL A, UNIBET.COM
I have translated user agreements, terms and conditions and keyword research projects for companies such as LG and GOLDEN MOMENTS, NINTENDO, EUKANUBA PETFOOD, TERMINAL A among others.
I work with Windows XP, Office Pro 2003, Acrobat Adobe Professional 8.1, Acrobat FrameMaker 8.0, TRADOS 2007 Suite, and Multi- term 2007.
In software translation, I have experience of the localisation program poEdit. I have of course Internet broadband connection as well as a wireless connection when travelling, External storage devices, cell phone, MSN and SKYPE.
