WORK EXPERIENCE: PROJECTS INVOLVING RUSSIAN <> ENGLISH TRANSLATION/ INTERPRETATION

1. Joint Ventures:
• To pack and market tea locally with Odessa and Moscow tea factories for J.V. Gokal & Co, Mumbai.
• To sell Russian technologies in India with a Russian technology licensing organization Licensintorg for BK Modi Group in Delhi. Besides






2. General and Local Office Management
• E-Post: Evaluation study for Uzbek Post to network and automate Post Office functions, collect sales data and collate it at the head post-office for Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL), Delhi office in Tashkent for 6 months.
• Assessment of Russian technologies suitable for India: travelled through Russia, discussed with scientists and engineers to short list technologies for B.K. Modi Group, Delhi
• Sale of tea in bulk and retail in Russia and CIS: Organized and managed a 4-person sales team in Moscow to sell bulk (to tea factories) and packet tea (to retailers and individual customers) for J.V. Gokal & Co. - (a Calcutta based tea export house to Russia & CIS countries).

3. Freelance translation (Russian> English): Have been translating Russian to English directly and through IndianScripts, Modlingua Translation Agencies – besides scientific and technical, also sales promotion, company brochures, procedures and software manuals, medical drug trial procedures, medical instruments and devices, etc, receiving and delivering translations online, through Internet.
