I am a bilingual Italian-Scot living in Scotland. Having worked in the Electronics and Automotive industry as a customer translator for 9 years I have gained experience in translating business documents, customer letters/contracts, manufacturing processes and technical engineering drawings and quality documents. Also translation of Transport/Shipping/Customs documents and Financial/Banking documents. In this industry I also carried out phone interpreting and interpreting at business meetings with Italian/French customers both home and abroad.

I also have experience in translating banking documents and Optical contact lens care documents as my most recent translation job was for a company setting up a Call Centre for the large Opticians division "Dollond & Aitchison" dealing with their Italian counterpart "Avanzi Direct".

I provide translations with an emphasis on superior quality and attention to detail. Precision is key to my translations as is using the appropriate language for my customer.

I keep my Italian up to date by watching Italian television/films via a satelite subscription in house and also reading Italian newspapers and magazines. I also like to spend long periods of time at my family home in the Molise region of Italy.

Tariffs for translating from Italian to English : £0.05 GBP Sterling per word £20.00 per hour.
