I have studied English since 1983 , I have finished the medical school (all in English) and now I am working as a doctor (M.B.Ch.B. degree in medicine)
I speak Arabic (native) and very good English (speaking, listening, writing and reading).
* In Aug 2004, I started working with Tetra Tech Company (American company) in the renovation of the Ministry of Trade Headquarters in Baghdad. I served as the project's doctor, safety officer, interpreter and translator.
* In Jan 2005, the company shifted me to another project, which was the construction of the Iraqi National Guard's Brigade Facilities Project FOB Al-Rasheed in Baghdad. My work was completed in October 2005.
* From Dec. 10, 2005 until March 31, 2006, I worked for Triple Canopy Guard Company at the American Council in Basrah in southern Iraq as an interpreter, translator and security officer.
* In May 2006 -- Aug 2006, I worked for a local pathological and analytic lab.
* I did lots of translations on different subjects for 8 years and this include ( certifications, contract, letters, food, medicine, construction, heath care, general conversations, policy, wheat, advertising, public relation, aviation, passports, CVs, economy, finance (general), business, commerce, cooking, cosmetics and beauty, journalism, marketing, military, music, tourism, sport and fitness (specially for body building), sciences in general, petroleum, oils, nutrition, management, history, community.
I did some translation for WFP (World Food Program) in Iraq, AWB (Australian Wheat Board) in Iraq.
* I taught many foreigners how to read, write and speak the standard Arabic language and the Iraqi dialect.
Training courses : computer courses (Windows XP, MS. Office 2003 and internet).
Cat tools : TRADOS, Wordfast, Babylon.
