Trained as a geoscientist with 9 years experience in academic research (geology, tectonics, geophysics, seismology), I hold a PhD in tectonophysics. I am currently involved with setting up bilateral relationships between France and the UK, in all areas of science (earth sciences, nanotechnologies, space, physics...). I am French and have been living overseas since 2003: 3 years in Australia, working as a researcher in seismology, and 5 years in the UK, where I successively worked as a researcher, an editor and a scientific attache.
I am an enthusiastic, adaptive and fast-learning person, committed to excellence in my work and with an extremely good eye for detail. I am able to convey any complex scientific, regulatory or policy matters with clarity in English and French.
I am bilingual, speaking and writing in English and French on a daily basis, dealing with any given scientific topic and a variety of stakeholders.
I also have quite a lot of experience in writing/reviewing/editing for highly ranked scientific (academic peer reviewed) journals (EPSL, PEPI, Tectonophysics, JGR, GRL...)
