I have had vast experience translating and interpreting in the following sectors:

* Computing
* Business and Finance
* Textiles
I started out as a foreign-language correspondent in Berlin in 1987 and completed my MBA with the Open University in 2000 while working as Head of IT for a builders' association in Germany. I have lived in the UK since 2003 and, after four years as Head of IT for a major national charity, decided to set up my own business.
I am currently studying part-time for an MA in Applied Translation Studies at the UEA in Norwich, UK, and expect to finish in August 2010.
