About me
I am a language professional with MA in English and diploma in culture and media. I studied translation at Gdańsk University (Poland) and Aalborg University (Denmark).
My native language is Polish. I live in Denmark, which gives me first-hand knowledge of Danish institutions, attitudes and everyday practices. I have the Certificate of Proficiency in the Danish language.

Experience
- I have many years experience providing technical translation services - from industrial and agricultural machinery documentation to home appliance manuals.
- As a freelance programmer and system administrator I specialise in IT and computer-related translations, software and web localisation as well as theoretical texts on software and system development.
- As a linguist by education and a lexicographer by passion (creation and maintenance of two on-line dictionaries) I am competent to work on in-depth texts dealing with all aspects of language
My translation experience ranges from technical specifications through legal, medical and fiscal documents to magazine articles and children songs and games (published as a book).
