My mother tongue is Swedish and my primer working languages are English and German. I also translate from Spanish into Swedish. I have been working as a freelance translator for the past five years. I have a BA in International Communication and Translation and an MA in Language and Engineering from the University of Hildesheim, Germany. My working fields are engineering and law and I specialize particularly in electrical and mechanical engineering as well as criminal law, civil law, patents and agreements.
I have extensive experience of law and patents. This experience originates from my past as a Swedish police officer as well as from the research for my BA-thesis about language structures in civil law judgements, and for my MA-thesis about language structures and translation problems in patent documents.
