My experience concerns the translation of Arabic and English texts. I work everyday with the following pairs: Ara-Ita, Ita-Eng and Eng-Ita. Living in Portugal I also started to translate Por-Ita and Por-Eng. My prerogatives are top quality, meeting of deadlines and availability. I work full-time as freelance translator. I acquired my skills studying long time Abroad (Egypt, Yemen, UK, Malta) and I have command of specific subjects. That's why I have experience in several fields including but not limited to Legal, economic, engineering, electricity, commerce, building, literature, IT, tourism etc. My clients are always satisfied and willing to work again.
I have handled projects in almost all fields; ranging from politics to human rights, law, economics, finance, IT, computer, religion (Islam and Christianism), commerce, contracts, tenders, and online-related activities.
I am sworn translator on behalf of the Court and the public prosecutor's office of Napoli (legal and technical translations) in English and Arabic. I translate in the abovementioned pairs for translation agencies from Italy, UK, USA and Liechtenstein.
Translating into English is my passion. I acquired my passion for the English language many years ago after having visited the UK on my many travels? My studies concentrated on translation and my carrier began with English translations. Day by day I specialised in translating also into English, the outcomes of which were extremely positive. I have fixed cooperation with British Centres in Italy and also With UK and American translation agencies. My experience in legal text enables me to translate and meeting the tightest deadlines and deliver high-quality pieces. My broad experience in legal texts comes from a highly developed study in Italian and English Law including but not limited to appeals, contracts and court orders. My field of expertise also cover economics, automotive, medicine and marketing. The main objective in my work is to remain true to the source text, while at the same time provide a target oriented style. As Walter Benjamin stated, ‘Translation is a means to aspire to pure language’. A language in which everything is natural, a language in which you don’t have the sensation it was manipulated. This is the task of a good translator. I am aware that the success of an agreement, an advertisement, or a report depends on my work and I aim to provide texts in which you don’t notice the so-called ‘loss’ from the source language, preserving the spirit and the style of the original document.
