I am an accredited translator for English and French. My mother tongue is German. I was awarded my Bachelor (Honors) degree in Translation in 2006, my specialty fields being Business/ Commerce/ Law/ General. In order to put my theoretic language skills into practice, I spent extensive periods of time in French and English- speaking countries thus perfecting my language skills and gaining important cultural insight. I spent about one year in England, two in Australia and I am currently living in the United States. I started freelancing in Australia, translating mainly in the following fields: Art/ Literary/ Entertainment/ Media/ CVs/ Personal documents/ Medical (general)/ Fiction/ Non-Fiction/ Contract/ Immigration documents/ Tourism/ Travel. I have been an accredited member of NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) in Australia. Aside from working as a translator, I have also gained teaching experience. The most recent position I held was as an English language instructor for adults fluent in German only. I designed the curriculum and also conducted the class. I have worked as an English, French and German tutor ever since I started studying. I am currently also tutoring university- level students in English and German.

Depending on text and volume: 0.07- 0.10 Euro per word
Proofreading: 0.03 Euro per word
Capacity: Between 2000 and 2500 words per day
