I am a Persian (Farsi) native speaker who has an M.A. in English-Persian Translation from CMU State University. It is about 6 years that I work as a freelance (Sworn) translator and moderate a translation workshop in Chabahar University (Iran).

During these years I have done hundreds of projects for many translation agencies including 250,000 words (Persian and English News) for "Kerman Emrooz News Agency", 300,000 words (Engineering and IT) for “Translation doctor ltd.”, 130,000 words (Medical) for Universal Publisher (Canada), and 260,000 words (Localisation and Law) for Nu-Fantex company. My fields of expertise are Journalism, Engineering (Civil, Mechanics, Structural, so on), Law (legal texts like contracts, documents, …) and Medicine (General and Pharmaceutics), but can cope with other fields successfully as I have done during these years.

I have translated three books into Persian which are both published and taught as textbooks at two universities. ( A book in the field of Civil engineering "Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity" , a book in the field of Mechanical engineering "Shafts and Shields in Internal Combustion Motors", and "The Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial Therapy" in the field of Medicine. )

Rate: Translation: 0.05 USD per word, Proofreading: 0.03 USD per word.

Trados discounts: 100%: 30 percent of the rate, 95% to 99%: 60 percent of the rate, 90% to 95%: 65 percent of the rate, 85% to 90%: 90 percent of the rate.
