I graduated as an Accountant from University of Malta in 2007. I currently work in one of the big-4 firms as an auditor.
My mother language is Maltese. I have an intermediate level in this subject. I have a devotion towards this beautiful langauge. Despite the fact that many Maltese people find it difficult to write it, I believe that it follows many grammatical rules, thus making it easy to write.
In Malta, the English langauge is an official langauge together with the Maltese language. Therefore, in Malta we are taught English from pre-grade onwards. At University all courses are in English (except for other language degrees). Therefore, I am in a position to translate from English to Maltese and vice-versa. I also have an intermediate level in this subject.
I also studied Italian for five years in secondary school. In Malta we have access to most Italian television stations. This helped me a lot to understand the Italian language. However, my spoken Italian is not very fluent and therefore I suggest that I will only quote for translations from Italian to Maltese and not vice-versa.
I have a limited knowledge of French and Spanish but unless the report is very simple, I will not quote for translations from Spanish/French to Maltese.
