We are graduated translators/interpreters (Oxford, Sorbonne, Wuerzburg/FRG) with more than 25 yrs of experience, inc. 15 yrs as Sworn Translators in Belgium.

We have worked for the EU Admin. + Euro-Control, for DPG Communications [UK], vanDijk Publishing [B] (huge comm. database), Ministère Région Wallonne [B] (arts), several other multinational companies, insurance cies. (EA Generali, InterUnfall [A],..), tech. cies. (Wittmann Robots [A], Buntmetall Austria (re: "AFNOR")), transport cies, railway cies (MAV,SNCB); the Hung. Embassy, auditors, lawyers and many more. Xlat.: EUR 1.15-1.35/TARGET-line@60char (1.30-1.50 for HU), depd. on lang., field & difficulty; negotiable (approx. € 0.10-.16/word); minim. EUR 30.- for 1 pg

Proofrd: EUR 35.- /hr (abt. 5-7 pg) for E/F/NL<>D; 40.- for D/E/F/NL<>HU

+surcharge: +10% w/ FAX, 30-50% w/ illegibility, urgency, layout, 20% Sworn, 75% week-end/holiday;

-discount: -20% for agencies + colleagues

Interpr. (consec.) EUR 450.-/day plus expenses f.D/E/F/NL, 500.- f.HU


T & C

* 40% downpaymt. for big assignmt. (>EUR 450.-) and/or 1st order;
* balance/total due on recpt of invc., payable in EUR by Bank-cheque or -transfer w/in 7 business days at no (Europe) resp. shared (overseas) costs;
* claims to be w/in 14 business days; accepted only on wilful error / damages or severe negligence, otherwise translator cannot be held responsible.
