I have English and Sesotho as my major courses at Teachers' Diploma (3 years) level. Furthermore, I majored in Sesotho and had English as an ancilliary course at Bachelor Degree (3 years) level. I have taught Sesotho for 14 years (1989-2003) at both primary and high school levels. In 2004 I was appointed at the Education District Office as a Senior Education Specialist (Sesotho-English). I developed Sesotho-English teacher training manuals and teaching resources. I also translated education material from Sesotho to English and English to Sesotho. Furthermore, I proofread and edited resources written in both languages. In February 2009 I was appointed as a Language Practitioner in the National Parliament of the Republic of South Africa. My responsibilities include proofreading, editing and translating Parliamentary Debates, Proclamations, Bills and acts of Law, Pamphlets, Manuals, Posters and Information Brochures.
