I'm a dual Canadian/Italian citizen, born and brought up in Montreal, but living since 1968 in Palermo (Italy), with over 35 years of working knowledge of the English (U.K./U.S.A.) and Italian languages, teaching, translating and interpreting both at the top notch native level of a well educated individual, keenly specialising in the Information Technology, Web/Software/iGames localisation, Literatures & Arts, Leisure & Tourism, Technical Industries, Business, Finance, Marketing and Law expertise fields.
After resigning in 2009 from my lifetime employer, one of today's leading European banks, which I provided with financial, legal, IT and language translation services in a variety of managerial positions in Italy and in London (England), I moved on to full time freelance language consultancy to private customers and language translation international companies, which I serve nowadays with a flawless, "one stop", customer-oriented service, featuring a comprehensive package of translation, proofreading and reviewing, which is often my winning edge, with the help of three on call, highly professional associates under my sole responsibility.
If possible, please take a useful moment and review the high proficiency level of the official language tests I've taken on www.odesk.com and on www.elance.com.
In short, my deed is to carry out any assignment with an accurate reflection of the original document in terms of content, contextuality, style and tone, keeping in mind client's deadlines, specific requirements whilst ensuring responsiveness and availability throughout and, whenever needed, also after the translation process; in other words, my peculiarity remains in the fact that I carry out each translation in close accordance to the given text but also bearing in mind and performing the necessary enrichment of a properly interpreted contextual meaning representation that a translator needs to deliver.
