Obtained a Bilingual Degree (B.A.) French/English with specialization in Translation, from the University of Yaounde, Cameroon in 1976.
Attended an Advanced Course in Linguistics at Thurrock Techncal College, Grays (Essex), England. Also attended an Advanced English Course at the University of Cambridge (England) and obtained the Certificate of Proficiency in English.
Started my carreer as a Frencn/English teacher for a period of 6 years. Subsequently, I embarked on various administrative and governmental functions in Cameroon, mainly as a Senior Administrative Officer/Translator at the Ministry of National Education (4 years), and Secretary General at the University Center in Douala, Cameroon (5 years).
I later on started an international carreer as Assistant Director of Human Resources/Translator for 15 years in a Financial International Organization with Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.
After over 25 years of employment, I decided in the year 2002 to settle as a Freelance Translator. My overall translation experience spans over 20 years.
