As an interpreter, I specialize in business meetings. My main area of expertise are IT, bioscience, engineering, manufacturing and entertainment. I also advise my client on broader issues, including their presentations, negotiation tactics, cultural protocols and personal communication issues. I particularly enjoy participating in a series of meetings as a strategic partner of the negotiating team. My education at prominent universities both in Japan (Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku) and US (Yale University) gives me confidence to work comfortably with the senior management teams.
I am very familiar with publication software such as Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have experience in creating Japanese catalogs for a major American mail-order retailer. I am also familiar with file formats such as PDF, EPS, JPEG, TIFF and HTML. I work as a voiceover talent as well as a voiceover supervisor.
