Career / Experience

I am a French-English translator with a 16-year work experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in bilingual letters (French/English) abtained from the University of Yaounde, Cameroon in 1990, and a post-graduate certificate in translation obtained in 1992 from the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI), Buea Cameroon. I have been working as translator in Cameroon's Ministry of Culture where I was appointed Translation Unit Head in 1995. During my 16-year career, I have become well acqainted with texts in the following domains: law, business, art and culture government, administration, history, printing, copyright, patent showbusiness etc...Since March 2009, I have been working as contract translator for the International Criminal Tibunal for Rwanda (ITCR).

   Pricing / Other services

For translation, I would accept 0.10 USD per source word and 0.04 USD per word for proof-reading.
