Tasks:
I worked on my own running a busy solicitor’s office. I used to organise the solicitor’s and my own daily work loads, and all the different legal and administrative aspects of property purchase and sale operations. I used to deal personally with several Notary’s offices when arranging for the signings of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Purchase / Sale Deeds. It was also my responsibility to provide accurate translations for legal documentation and contracts. I also translated the company’s website and all standard office letters into English, as all our clients were British. I provided interpretation services for our clients when dealing with Notary’s offices and any other governmental offices or departments. I carried out Reception and Customer Care duties, to the point where it was who personally used to deal mostly with our clients. I also acted as a bridge between our Fiscal Advice department (all of them being only Spanish speakers) and our clients.

Tasks:
I used to monitor and organise the client’s completion trips, once their Spanish property was ready for handover and they needed to come to Spain for completion. I used to deal with all our clients, their builders and their solicitors, organising and arranging all the legal paperwork and details to ensure a hassle free trip. I also used to provide after care for our clients; from the moment they bought their property until the time they came to complete the purchase. I translated most of our office documents and also our website. I used to provide interpreter’s services on a weekly basis, when the two partners of the business (one of them Spanish, the other one English, and neither speaking the other’s language) met with the sales rep, all of them British. I also used to update the properties showing on our website, both in English and in Spanish, and the properties portfolio and in-house brochures.
