I believe that passion towards a profession is the key to success. I love the art of translation and have been translating for a long time now. I have worked in various fields like Science, Humanities, Anthropology, Marketing, Anthropology, History, Physical Education, Medicine, Travel and Hospitality Services, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, legal and gazetteer and many other arenas translating between Kannada and English Languages.I instituted Akshara Translators in 2009, and have worked with major national and inter-national clients since then. Some the prominent projects include
- Noora Health, a company providing Health care education across the world, as Interpreter and with WHO representatives as an Interpreter, through Noora Health.
- Translated audio interpretations of Anthropological Project conducted on the Effects of Lantana on Ecology in M. M. Hill, for University of Kent.
- Translated Nanna Gopala by Kuvempu
- Wrote articles for the Folklore Encyclopedia Kannada Vishaya Vishvakosha – Janapada, published by University of Mysore, in May, 2006 and Translated articles for Anthropology Encyclopedia and Literary Encyclopedia for Mysore University (Yet to be published)
- Translated MGNREGA modules and training materials for Abdul Nazeer Saab Institute of Rural Development.
-Biography on Dr. M. Chidananda Murthy published by Chetana Book House, Mysore.
-Early India, by Romila Thapar: Translated into Kannada, 6 chapters, through Vismaya Publications, (Yet to be published)
- Philosophy of Physical Education by C. C. Cowell and France:Translated into Kannada (Yet to be published).
- Worked as Resource Person (Editing), in Anukriti (A) Project, Translation Studies Group at Central Institute of Indian Languages,and also participated in Prof. M. B. Emeneau Centenary International Conference on South Asian Linguistics as a Rapporteur in 2005 and as Facilitator, for Language and Communication for Unemployed Rural Graduates handling Communication through A-V Media
