I have more than 3 years experience where I have worked as a freelance translator in translation and transcription of audio-visual files which were aired on TV production from Somali-English; translation of questionnaire on a nationwide study conducted in Kenya with the translation aimed for the largely Somali speaking province of North-Eastern Kenya from English-Somali; Translation and transcription of 45 minutes and 15 minutes audio files three times a week for over a year and a half from Somali-English; translation of web based publications from Somali-English on a 6 month daily basis.
