AUGUST 2008 - NOVEMBER 2010
Working as a Japanese-Italian and English-Italian translator at Nintendo of Europe, in Frankfurt, through Localsoft agency. I translated the new videogames from Nintendo within a team of translators from all over Europe.
Italian lead translator for:
Inazuma Eleven (DS, from Japanese)
WarioWare: Do It Yourself (DS and Wii, from English)
Kirby Super Star Ultra, Jam With The Band (DS)
WiiWare and DSiWare (Pop up Pursuit, Fortune Telling Channel, Art Style: INTERSECT/DIGIDRIVE, A Little Bit Of... Magic Made Fun)

FEBRUARY 2008 - JUNE 2009
I translated Japanese comics from Japanese to Italian for the Italian comic publisher Edizioni BD - manga division JPOP. As of June 2009 I translated around 40 volumes. Among them, I translated mangas from these Japanese publishers:

From 15 to 17 October 2008 I worked as Japanese - Italian interpreter during the Frankfurt Book Fair, helping the publisher Edizioni BD in meetings with international divisions and licences divisions of Japanese publishers.
In April 2008 I worked as Japanese - Italian and Italian - Japanese interpreter during Comicon, the annual comic fair in Naples.

DECEMBER 2007 - MAY 2008
Japanese Travel Agency H.I.S. Rome branch, inbound division. My duties were booking hotels and cars for Japanese travellers, dealing with Japanese customers coming directly to our branch and keeping contact with the other branches in Europe and Japan.

AUGUST 2005 - AUGUST 2007
Working in Japan for Kyoto Prefectural International Center and Kyoto Prefecture International Division. My duties as coordinator for international relations were:
• Organization of cultural events;
• Italian to Japanese and Japanese to Italian translation;
• Interpreting;
• Reception.
Cultural events aimed at deepening the knowledge of resident people towards foreign countries with language and cooking lessons, lectures and exchange programs.
There were also events intended for foreigners, with the aim of letting them know better Japanese culture and Kyoto Prefecture with its surroudings. Therefore excursions, trips, Japanese lessons, lectures and a multilingual radio program were organized.

To get to this position I passed the selections for 2005 JET Programme, a Japanese Government program through which local authorities recruit foreign staff to place in offices as coordinator for international relations.

During University I worked in a club in Rome in the wardrobe and counter.

Fluent in Japanese, which I studied at University and other institutions.
