Studied French in grades 7-12, and in college. Moved to France and worked as a bi-lingual secretary (typing and shorthand in both French and English) for two law firms and one advertising agency over a period of five years.
I have translated French novels, theses, and a variety of documents relating to law and business. Right now, I am translating papers for a French pastor who is obtaining a Ph.D in divinity.
Pricing / Other services
For translating French to English, or English to French, charge is $60 per hour.
Or, I can charge by the word. Amount negotiable.
I also provide proofreading and copy-editing services in English.
