I have been working as a professional editor and freelance translator and interpreter since 2007.

Editing/proofreading experience:
I worked at a publishing company called LexisNexis where I was a content editor in English and Afrikaans, editing tax, accounting and legal textbooks for university students as well as handbooks for professional accounts and lawyers/legal practitioners.
Furthermore I also edit the online content of Business Optimizer, an online business consulting company.

Translation experience:
I am currently working as a freelance translator for various agencies.
I completed an internship during my studies at a legal translation agency called Juris'Traduction International Development in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, translating various legal texts and documents from French into English.

Interpreting experience:
I worked as an interpreter at the Mosaiek Community Church, interpreting from Afrikaans to English.

Academic qualifications:
I have completed the following degrees
- BA Audiovisual Communication (University of Johannesburg 2005)
- BA Honours French Translation and Linguistics (University of Johannesburg 2006)
- Master 1 LLCE spe anglais (Universite de Paris Nanterre La Defense 2009)
- Master 2 Recherche spe traduction (Universite de Paris Nanterrre La Defense 2010)

My price is 0,10 USD or 0,6 ZAR per word.

I am available for work full time (evenings and weekends).
