I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, French and German from Lund University, Sweden, specialising in translation.
I taught English, French and German at highschool level for thirteen years.
I also worked as a simultaneous translator at meetings and conferences.
I subsequently moved to Australia where I have lived for the last twenty years working as a freelance translator, translating from and into English, French, German and Swedish.
My experience covers a wide range of material, both literary and technical. Some of the areas which I have covered are poetry, computing, fruit-growing, wormgear, submarines, police reports and various legal documents, just to mention a few.
