TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Every order will be validated by a cost estimate signed and dated by both parties. The minimum amount is 50 GBP per order.
CONSIGNMENT AND DELIVERY
The client will deliver the source documents as electronic files (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign, QuarkExpress etc.), and translations will be sent in the same format. Format conversions may attract a small fee.
STANDARD INVOICING TERMS
Charges are based on an estimate of the number of source words in the document(s). The final invoice will be issued based on the actual number of source words translated. The invoice is sent on the same day of the translation delivery.
Payment is due 30 days from invoice date at the latest, by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal. Other invoicing terms will need to be agreed in advance by both parties.
All our quotes are valid for a 30 days period only. Please note that VAT is not applicable.
Surcharges may apply for translation of documents from hard copy, poorly copied PDF files, table-rich documents, formatting etc. A minimum charge is applied for projects of less than 500 words.
No surcharges apply for weekend work or work during unsociable hours. Discounts are negotiable on an individual basis for projects exceeding 10,000 words and for 100 % matches/repetitions in Trados/Wordfast.

Portuguese > Spanish - Standard rate: 0.07 - 0.08 GBP per source word
Italian > Spanish - Standard rate: 0.07 - 0.08 GBP per source word
INTERPRETING: 30 GBP per hour
PROOF-READING or EDITING: 20 GBP per hour
DAILY OUTPUT: 2,000 - 3,000 words (depending on source text)
