Cultural development and training.
• In November 1989 the habilitation to profession as doctoress in biology state examination.
• In March 1988 degree certificate in biology discussing an entitled experimental thesis: “The immunologic characteristics of the rat suffering from Yoshida cancer” and short dissertation with title: “The mitochondrial myopathies: biochemical, genetic and physiopathological characteristics and therapeutic measures”.
• Since November 1984 to February 1988 degree boarding near the general pathology institute of the university in Pavia (the stain of cytological and histological specimens by the techniques: “May- Grünwald-Giemsa”; “Sudan the third”; “Sudan black”; “Haematoxylin-eosin”, “Immunoperaxidase technique”).
• Since November 1982 to July 1983 the annual degree boareding near the microbiology laboratory of the university in Pavia (the stain of the bacterial cultures by “Gram’s technique”; the inhibition of the bacterial growth by antibiotics; the examination of the bacterial cultures by the optical microscope; the tubercle bacillus’research by the “Ziehl-Nielsen’s technique”).
• In July 1981 Scientific Liceum’s examination (Scientific Liceum of the state Galileo Galilei in Voghera).

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
• Since April 1997 until today: collaboration as free-lance translator of biomedical books from English into Italian, from French into Italian, from Spanish into Italian next to translation agencies in: Voghera, Pavia, Milano, Erba (CO), Losana, Casalecchio sul Reno (BO).
• Since January 1996 to April 2000: voluntary laboratory assistant next to the S. Matteo Polyclinic (PV). Microbiological tests laboratory; done tests: antibiograms, pathogenic germs’ research; skin ulcers nasal pharyngeal, vaginal and urethral tests; blood smears and blood clotting tests.
• Since January 1993 to June 2006: temporary teaching posts at high schools and technical institutes as teacher of natural sciences, chemistry, geography and microbiology.
• Since January 1990 to December 1992: researcher about the autoimmune diseases next to the paediatrics immunology laboratory of the S. Matteo Polyclinic (Pv), benefiting by two scholarships of the same Polyclinic.
• Since April 1988 to October 1989: practical training post degree next to the paediatrics immunology laboratory of the S. Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia (the research of the “Osa” and “Nosa” antibodies through the immunofluorescence microscope and the haemo-agglutination test for the diagnosis and therapy of the autoimmune diseases; the stain of blood smears by the May-Grunwald-Giemsa technique and analysis of white corpuscles’morphology, recognizing the atypical forms, index of lympho-proliferative diseases, and red corpuscles morphology, watching the sizes, the form, the degree of stain, distinguishing marks for the various forms of anaemia).
