I am a freelance interpreter and translator with more than 14 years of experience, 3 active languages (EN, ES and Galician) and three passive languages (DEU, PT and FR). I am familiar with a very large range of experience areas, from medicine to literary texts.
Besides, I am also a writer of fiction for children and adults in Galician. My works have received several relevant awards and some of them have been translated and turned into movies and theatre plays.
Finally, as an unpaid profession, I have been active in the development sector since 1994 and have founded the Non-Governmental Organisation IMPLICADAS NO DESENVOLVEMENTO (www.implicadas.com). I am a Gender and Development expert currently working (this time on a paid basis!) as consultant for German NGO Kinder-Not-Hilfe.
