I have a (Hons) Bachelor's degree in Politics and English from University College Cork (Ireland) and a Master's degree in English from University of Toronto (Canada). My native language is Swedish and I currently live and work in Stockholm, Sweden, where I translate between English and Swedish. My main areas of specialization are in literary studies, politics, general/correspondence and telecommunications, and I appreciate a challenge in so far as it develops both my personal and my professional abilities. I have in the past worked for one of Sweden's most influential literary magazines - 10TAL Magazine - where I translated a number of in-house texts on various topics, and my translation work has also been published in print. I average around 2400 words/day, depending on the content and timing.
