Dear Sir or Lady,

My name is Andrea and I’m a native italian speaker, with two postgraduate degrees, one obtained from the University of Bradford, UK (MA Peace Studies) and another one from the University of Vienna, Austria (MPhil Philosophy and Communication Studies). In both cases I have achieved top scores (respectively, "distinction" and "mit Auszeichnung bestanden"). I now live in Spain after having lived a while, and worked, in Norway.

I have a vast experience in communication jobs as well as significant experience in translating and interpreting all sorts of materials, in particular:

MARKETING (tourism, business studies)
TECHNICAL information sheets and leaflets (building and skirtings sector, especially)
SCIENTIFIC (human sciences, philosophy etc.)

I also do have experience in interpreting from and into English, German and Italian.

My current project is a book from a German professor, a doctoral thesis, which I'm translating from German into Italian.

€0.06 per word for longer texts


Technical Texts:

€0.12 per word for texts of 6,000 words or less,
€0.10 for texts between 6,000 and 20,000 words and
€0.08 per word for longer texts


Proof-reading:
€0.04 per word for texts of 6,000 words or less,
€0.03 for texts between 6,000 and 20,000 words and
€0.02 per word for longer texts


Express Service (Translations or Proof-reading)
+ €0.08 per word for texts (discounts for larger projects may apply)


Interpreting:
€ 120 per day. Can travel anywhere, provided travel expenses are paid for in advance.
