Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I immigrated to the United States in 2001, where I lived for ten years. After my arrival, I reinforced my English and Portuguese and enrolled in college to complete an interpreting course in Portuguese and English for the purpose of working in hospitals. Concurrently, I completed an advanced mentoring program for translators in the medical field, where I could put my Spanish writing skills to good use.
For the last 3 years in the United States, I worked as a freelance translator for a Spanish newspaper, a clinic, and direct clients. I carried out some interpreting assignments for a number of agencies and regularly attended conferences and seminars.
Near the end of 2011, I moved to Argentina where I continue to work as a translator.
